“I would like to thank with the big pleasure everybody at the agency for the quality of your service and for the interest you show to resolve the problems of people (especially thank you Miss Julia and Mister Slava).
With “Chance for love”, I’ve met a wonderful woman, a woman with such nice and attractive personality, good principles, good education and of course who is beautiful and have much charm, femininity! Yes I’ve met the true Love with Tatiana.
Of course it’s a question of luck because I would never have thought that such woman could still exist: she represents everything I could hope

Good day gentleman. My name is Joe and I have nothing but good things to say about Chance for Love and its highly professional and caring staff. I never had the opportunity to visit the office in Kazan, but I assure you Slava and his staff go the extra mile to provide outstanding service to all of their clients.
I met my beautiful soon to be bride Natasha through Chance for Love, and had them handle all of the travel arrangements for me when I traveled to Donetsk to visit her. I was met at the airport by Tatyana and Victoria (the Donetsk staff), they were absolutely wonderful, and took good care of me

To everybody at the agency
I wish to inform you all that I and Olesya are now happily married. Our wedding was on 16th October 2008 and we were very lucky in that the weather in England was warm and sunny. We spent our honeymoon in the wonderful county of Cornwall, England. We are now in the process of obtaining Olesya’s 2 year extension visa; this, hopefully, will be achieved on November 7th 2008 (wish us luck).
Jason & Olesya
I would just like to thank you all in your support during my pursuit of a Russian wife this last 18 months. But I would like to give special praise to

Dear Slava and Ira, As you know, I am a new client of your agency and have been lucky enough to find Lubov Markova, a very beautiful lady who is obviously very kind, caring and compassionate. I pray that we will be together one day as man and wife.
I want to thank you for all the wonderful help you are giving Lubov and myself, for without you, I would still be lonely with nothing left in life to look forward to. It is true God brings two people together, but He has also blessed you both for considering others and bringing so much happiness to

To the staff,
I just want you to know that I just returned from my visit to Nikolaev, Ukraine where I met Marianna and we fell in love almost instantly. She is the most wonderful woman I've ever met. We had a big traditional engagement party with her friends, family and the staff and have started the paperwork for her visa. I can't thank you enough for everything you did to help me. I have been alone for 10 long years waiting to find the perfect mate and thanks to you and your wonderful staff in Nikolaev (Oleg, Vartan, Lyuda, Irina & Lora) I have found her. The staff in Nikolaev was very friendly

Slava,
Thank you for the great service you and your staff have provided. From all of the wonderful ladies that you represent, I met the woman of my dreams..
I am very impressed by your company. While I was looking through the various Internet companies, I found some dishonest operators and old listings of woman. Your company is very honest and fair on the charges for services. I found the listings new and the women very interested in writing to me. I know that I saved money and time in using your agency.
Again, thank you for all of your help.

Ken and Lilia
|
Gentlemen and Gentlewomen (Smile) my name is Ken. Recently I met a very special person her name is Lilia. We plan to be married this year or as soon as she gets her Visa. I want to thank Slava, Sabina, Zhanna, Vartan, Oleg, Lyuda, Laura and Irina. They all played a part in bringing Lilia and I together. I am truly grateful to all for bringing Lilia into my life. I think they all enjoy there work and truly get a personal satisfaction of bringing something very good into people's lives. They are especially happy when they discover that a couple is getting married as Lilia and I. Most of the
women get tears in their eyes. Once when a mistake was made during my correspondence with Lila. It was necessary for Sabina and I to talk and make a correction. She felt so bad I could not get her to stop crying. She eventually did and her Slava, Oleg and Vartan got involved and fixed the problem I have been working with Slava and his agency for two years. It took me that long just to understand how things worked. I know Slava well and trust him completely. He met his wife through the agency process and emails. What more of an endorsement for the process could you ask for (Smile)! I made many mistakes but all these people helped me at one point or another. My trip was quite an experience I never traveled to Eastern Europe and had no experience with Visa's and letters of invitation. Vartan is the owner of the agency in Nikolaev. He likes cowboy hats. So if you want to get on his good side and you should, buy him a cowboy hat and bring it with you on your visit (Smile). Vartan and Lilia met me at the airport in Odessa. Lilia and I stayed as his guest in his Bed and Breakfast Hotel. Irina cooked a delicious breakfast for Lilia and I every morning and dinner every evening. Vartan always entertained us with his own unique style of starting a fire in the fireplace (Laughing). Irina is Vartan's wife and also I think the 'real boss' (laughing). She is also the accountant for the agency. Vartan would get a cab for us in the morning and we would go into town and meet Lyuda. Lyuda is a charming, smiling attractive young woman with a very engaging personality. Lyuda is Vartan's daughter and is an excellent interpreter. She would spend the afternoon with Lilia and I. Oleg runs the agency in Nikolaev. He is Vartan's son however he is not as pretty as his sister Lyuda (Smile). Vartan's agency works closely with Slava's agency in Kazan. I am sure that anyone reading this is well aware of all the danger's and scams a stupid American could get himself into going to Eastern Europe to meet someone special. So having two agencies involved and working together is a very good sign that you are working with professionals. A good friend in the health care business once advised me to always go to a specialist who has peers. This way they are self-judging and it is difficult for incompetence to survive.
While I was staying at Vartan's Bed and Breakfast another American arrived during the middle of the week. He came from Keiv and obviously made his own arrangements. Vartan graciously offered his services and help with a lady he had met through another agency. Laura interpreted for them for the day and dinner that night. He had trouble getting money. His visa card was not working on the ATM machines. He had trouble in Keiv and was wandering around on his own. Laura is an excellent interpreter she has translated many, many letters for Lilia and I. But even with all her expertise you could tell that things were not as comfortable as they could be because of bad planning on his part. In the middle of the night (2am) he decided he was not having a good time and wanted to leave by taxi to somewhere else. We finally got a hold of the lady he met and she got him a taxi to a hotel downtown. The lady never saw him again and that is the last we ever heard from him. I think it would be fair to say his trip did not go well. But it was all brought on by his own actions and making bad decisions about who to work with and who to trust.
Here is what I learned:
1) Make a decision to correspond to only one person and focus your relationship. If it does not work out then move on to something or someone else. But never try to juggle between several. This leads to a disaster sooner or later. Remember these women are usually required to answer all correspondence until there profiles are removed. Agency professionals like Zhanna are very good at reviewing emails and making sure both parties are being truthful.
2) Talk to your lady on the phone if you are serious and talk to her often.
3) If you are serious make plans to visit ASAP. Emails and phone conversations only go so far. Remember this lady is required to answer all correspondence.
4) Make sure you plan your trip well in advance, at least 2 months, because you need a Passport and a Visa. Both take time. You must send your passport and letter of invitation to the Embassy of country you plan to visit to get your Visa. If you think you will be going back, get a multiple entry Visa otherwise you are going to spend a lot of money and time dealing with your visiting country's Embassy acquiring Visa's. These Embassies are not easy to deal with.
5) Always work your visit through an agency in the country you plan to visit.
6) Always make sure the agency you work with is reputable and you get references. Talk or correspond to the references. There are many variations in the way agencies do their business and I have looked at many. I personally believe Slava's and Oleg's agency are very good models. Slava and Oleg are very honest and straightforward. Sometimes I do not like what they say, but I have tried to listen. I personally do not believe in "tours to meet hundreds of women" and arrangements for social gatherings. I saw this activity in Nikolaev and spoke with Americans about these experiences during my flights to and from Nikolaev. To me these activities have the look and feel of someone looking for a good time. Also if you only knew how stupid a bunch of American men look coming off a tour bus or milling about like a bunch of cows waiting to be taken to market (laughing) you would think twice about doing it.
7) Never, never try to travel on your own or book accommodations on your own! Work with the agency. Once you selected a good agency put all your trust in them. It will do you no good to question their actions or motives once you made the decision. So choose your agency well!
8) Make sure you save every document and receipt while you are there. You may need them later. Make real sure you save your entry form required at customs when entering the country. Next to your passport it is the most important thing you have to get you out of the country.
9) Never try to ship something to Eastern Europe on your own.
10) If you are meeting a special lady. Document the meeting well. Take pictures keep receipts. If you give her a ring try to get documents prepared for her fiancee Visa before you leave so you can take them with you. If you do not know what documents she will need, ask the agency to help you. If they do not know or cannot help you, find another agency!
11) Banks in Eastern Europe are very different. Make sure your credit card company knows that you are traveling to Eastern Europe and where you plan to stay and for how long. You do not want them to decline your cash advances while you are there. Have a back up money supply system with someone back in the States to get you money through Western Union. I found that Western Union although expensive is the best and fastest way. American Express cards do not work in the ATM machines. American Express works at banks. You cannot use credit cards to pay for merchandise or restaurants. In most places it is cash only in the currency of their country.
12) Be sure to pack common household remedies for headache and upset stomachs. I am not saying that you are sure to get sick but if you do you will find it difficult to purchase things like Aspirin, Pepto-Bismol, Anti acid and things for irregularity. Try to stay on bottled water.
13) Travel light and be sure to review your flight plans carefully and allow extra time for connecting flights. Remember if you switch Terminals you may have to get your baggage and go through customs and security again. If you have to get connecting flights in a foreign airport, call your travel agent and have them call that airport and make sure you will be able to find your connection via English signs or someone who speaks English. Also determine if you need a Transit Visa if your flight covers more than one foreign country.
14) Forget about using your cell phone while you are there it probably will not work. You would be better off buying one while you are there and getting it activated there. When you leave give it to someone as a present.
15) If you travel during the colder time of the year be prepared with warmer clothes for inside of buildings. They do not heat buildings like Americans. If you do not dress warmly for the inside you will be sleeping in your coat by the end of the week, like I was (Laughing) The constant cold will eventually get to you, because the inside of buildings are not an escape from the cold and your body does not get a break from fighting off the cold weather. I live in Crested Butte Colorado and it is not uncommon to be 40 degrees below zero. So I thought I was use to the cold.
16) If you are serious about a lady and plan to marry and bring her to the US, hire an immigration attorney. Do not attempt the immigration requirements on your own.
Most important of all be polite at all times while you are there. Customs and living styles are different. Remember when dealing with waiters, clerks, taxi drivers etc, you may think they do not understand English and you could say some off hand remark in English. Please do not do this. Your body language will give you away and you will not have a pleasant experience.
On my way back to the US I met a returning American at the Odessa airport. He kept whispering under his breadth criticizing this and that. He bragged how he met 3 women at once at a social gathering. He complained that he could not get the Hotel operator to give him more heat in his room. As we were in line for customs inspection, he whispered in my ear how horrible and stupid the inspectors where. When it was my turn for inspection I was asked how much money I had on me. I said a few hundred dollars and he passed me on never opening my luggage. I went and sat down waiting for my plane. The complaining American who was right behind me for customs inspection did not show up till a half an hour later and almost missed the plane. I asked what kept him. He said they opened all his language and inspected every piece. I laughed and said, "Can you imagine that"? On the plane he sat in back of me and he leaned forward to me and commented on how bad the food was.
I have much more I can say, but it would make this reference to long (laughing). Please feel free to email me questions. kenpeck@ix.netcom.com
Again I feel I must thank all the people at both agencies all of them are professionals and take their jobs very seriously.
