Look at the source of the sample data.
The source is not random nor is it not found from porn sites, or from businesses selling sex tourism. The only substantive weakness is that the respondnets were self selecting. It is possible, but extremely unlikely, that these guys were not representative of the group of men seeking a Russian bride.
The data came from men who were committed enough to the concept of seeking a Russian wife that they were contributors to a couple of very large and active discussion groups on the subject. So, the sample is representative of guys similar to those who post here. In fact, probably some of the respondents do, I am sure, post here, or read these threads. They are guys like you Billy.
The sample size is statistically valid and a sensible universe of respondents was chosen. Sensible questions were asked.
What you are trying to do is, for some reason, to distance yourself from your peers. I don't understand why. But, Billy, look at this board, look at polls conducted here, Lock at the trip reports. What do you see?
Guys who for one reason or another are seeking and having relationships with women much younger than themselves and who find all sorts of justifications for rejecting women of their age cohort. All this paper does is puts into relief what is available to anyone with eyes. It does not make judgments, it does not make conclusions about choices. You're doing these things.
It is so simple that I cannot believe you have a problem with this.
Men choose much younger women. Women are not choosing older men, just taking what is offered. Simple.

The Pepsi taste test is a very interesting case. Pepsi did beat Coke 2 to 1 in a blind taste test. However, the tasters were given only a "sip" of each beverage. Studies conducted where the entire can of soda was consumed yielded different results.

Obesity studies are another case. Many studies define obesity as as BMI of 25 or greater, categorizing people as normal, underweight, overweight or obese. As an example, a study might compare obesity rates between two groups of people. Both might have an equal proportion of falling into the obese category (BMI 25). However, this can paint an inaccurate picture of reality. One group of people might consist of people with a BMI just barely over the limit of 25, while the other may contain many extemely obese people with a BMI of 40 or greater. The study would show both groups to be "equally" fat. Reality would show otherwise.
Statistics can be very useful, but you really have to understand where the data is coming from, who is collecting it, how it's being collected, and just how representative of reality the focus group being tested is.

AM-RW AGE DIFFERENCE ANALYSIS
This is what the guys that conducted the tests have to say
"The most serious violation is that the sample (i.e., the men who responded to the survey) was not randomly selected from the larger population of all AM pursuing a relationship with an RW. Instead these men volunteered the information--also known as a self-selected sample--and they may be very different from men who did not volunteer; there is no way to tell. There are one or two other, lesser I believe, violations which may affect the validity of the statistical tests, but they get fairly technical and I will not attempt to explain them here."
At least these guys doing this study admitted to the flaws of their tests. I don't know what the big deal is about not exposing the one or two other flaws. One or two other flaws???? Can they make up their mind on which is it? Did you notice in another paragraph they said there was unsuccessful prior attempts at conducting the survey they wanted so they had to revise it to make it work. Andrew, this survey is weak and you're calling it sensible.
I don't have a problem compairing myself to the people here, I do relialize that men do date younger women but there is a big difference here between the avg man and the avg pervert on that world sex guide or forum that somebody put a link to in a post I once saw here.
I looked at the scatterplot on that survey. It shows men married as many 18 year old girls as the 19-20 year olds combined. It would leave a sour taste in most peoples mouths and stereotype men as being perverts. There is no doubt in my mind there is perverts in that surveyed group. Did they really married RW as the survey implies or were they married to a legal child?

I do believe I was the one that said earlier in this thread "the majority of men or women doing the choosing ONLY CARE about the women/men that say, "yes I can accept you as an younger woman/older man". They should care less what the majority has done or says in a study."
