You keep repeating this over and over again. Just saying so does not make it true.
And not to be rude, but you are not exactly the most objective person to be commenting on this issue. If I remember correctly one of your first posts on this board was you complaing about how all the men looking for RW were searching for a younger Russian bride. You are in your 30s, all the men your age are looking for women in their 20s. I am sure this leaves you quite bitter. And dare I say, not objective regarding this issue.
Anyway, regarding the topic itself. Looking at sites like Freepersonals.ru, where it is not an agency but the women themselves posting their profiles, most women in their early 20s are willing to consider someone upto 40. For about 80% of these early 20s women on the site, 40 seems to be a cutoff age. A few of them state it as being 35, and very few say 30. Even if half these women are scammers, that is still a large percentage of RW that seem to be fine with dating a man 15 or more years older.
Having said that, dating a younger woman should not be considered by the VAST MAJORITY of older men. I still would not recommend a fat, balding 45 year man attempting to have a relationship with a 25 year old hottie. If you think this will work, you are living in a fool's paradise.
But, if you are attractive, charming, dress well, are quite hip and know how to carry yourself, then by all means, give it a try.

Hello, I'm Joe and new to this group. I am 42 and I shy away from the women under 30. I think 30 is too young for me. I have a friend from Tver, Russia who would like to bring my pictures with her when she visits home in June.
She and I debate this age question often as she believes that a man over 40 is like all the ingredients of fine wine coming to fruitation. She is 30 and I often kid her I couldn't date her because she's too young.
She says "Joe, you are strong and handsome. You do not look your age. You should not worry about this. Let woman decide what is right age for her".
So what I don't understand is all these 24 year old, educated and cultured women looking for these old guys like me. In the states that would never happen but it appears so common on all the Russian dating sites. Then I read on this forum how that is uncommon.
That leaves me confused and so I fall back on my rule - under 30 is too young. :wall:

I think you are better off sticking to the age range that you are comfortable with.
You have already decided that you are an "old guy". So, even if you were to meet somebody much younger that is interested, you have a preconceived notion about yourself, even if the girl does not. Your own thoughts will sabotage any possibility of a succesful relationship.
In summary, dating a younger woman is not for you.

That is drawing some serious conclusions. Actually I'm a big kid that never grew up. I'm just thinking long term and attempting to be realistic.
Mostly I am not searching out women under 30 but they are always welcome to search me out. The question is can they keep up with me?
