It is easy to get misunderstood posting on this forum especially when an AM use humor towards a Russian bride.
I agree but most are not becoming involved with someone with a different religion.
As for race, that in itself is irrelevant UNLESS those involved think that will be an issue.
It may be relevant in some locations, in some countries but if the similarities out weigh anything else it becomes moot.
In other words, if 2 people were similar enough (or almost identical) in their beliefs, ideas, culture, etc then they are still very much a like.
By virtue of them being different races doesn't make them greatly different.
I was raised in a Christian family but just because another person is Black doesn't mean that I have some profound similarity. They could be a muslim and in which case we may have some great differences which would definately out weigh our one and only similarity.
I meant such cases for example when Russian girls became involved with guys from muslim countries (Iraq or Iran or others - there are a lot of them in our "gaz-oil" institutes) who studied in FSU. Those guys are very "civil" and have very open mind here. But when girls arrive to their countries all turns at 180 degree :confused: Surrounded by their families guys "suddenly" became true muslims with all "nice" consequences.
As for race then I still with my opinion - if mixed marriage are not common thing in places with mixed races - then there ARE some reasons why it's so . I may not be aware about them (as I all my lifetime I saw only "white" faces around me ) and I may don't understand them but I have no wish to make experiments with my own life to figurate out those reasons :rolleyes:

Additionally, most (maybe not all) of them would completely disagree with my views on politics, life, etc...
I've met a FEW but not everyone you meet, just because they are single or happen to be of the same race, are someone you would want to marry. It more than just look/cosmetics/color its also about finding someone who is compatible. Someone who has a similar way of thinking, similar views and similar interest.

Your (biased) perspective.... who said anything about "melting a box of crayons" by the that "logic" I suppose that GREEN (Blue and Yellow), Orange and other "mixed" colors are "bland" :)
You assume a lot. You assume that black males that date outside of their race are crazy and/or don't like black women.
Neither of which may be true, maybe its a matter of broadening ones choices.
Considering the availability of AW, one could also argue that any AM that looks for a foreign woman is just crazy or doesn't like AW and that may not be true either.
So, if I were to use your reasoning/logic would you be crazy or just don't like AW????
