I don't suggest the women want to find older men, but they make the choice to accept older men because older men is what is on offer!(unless a couple of Russian bride agency owners chime in and tell us that a significant number of their visiting clients are in their 20's...)
We know they make this choice based upon the difference between what Russian women do with Russian men as compared to American men (see the figures already posted!)
The author of the stats analysis demonstrates very well that women are NOT making choices based upon age! It is largely excluded from their criteria having only a 7% weight in the process. He does not speculate upon what the real motives are.
Given that we know from the posted analysis that women seeking American mates are NOT interested in age as a selection criterion your second paragraph is moot. I would though suggest that a young guy who could demonstrate a stable ability to meet the other selection criteria of these women would in fact do pretty well, ceteris paribus.
Corollary:
A guy who is otherwise decent will make out like gangbusters with women of his age cohort! (I know this is true!)
Your third point again is moot, unless you can demonstrate that the analysis that I have posted above is incorrect. Assuming it is not, we know that women seeking American guys do not care about age. It is the men who do. Age is 39% of the weighting of criteria for mate selection.
Simply put, it means that given a man's age, one can with a good deal of accuracy, predict the likely age range of the woman he will select. BUT, and this is important, given the age of the woman, one can not with any degree of certainty make any inference about the age of her eventual mate!
Thus we know that her choices are independent of age - speculate at will as to what they might be!
Summary:
Russian women seeking American husbands are atypical. Unlike most of their peers, they do not set age as a significant criterion for choice of mate. They weight other factors much more heavily.
Most American men are also atypical of their peers, they weight age very heavily. Most of the men are in their mid 30's and older with a peak in the mid to late 40's. (data elsewhere on this board!)
Conclusion:
The women make their choice based upon what is available to them, from a set of criteria that largely excludes age, selection is not, however, random!

Has anyone read the Conclusion of the research on age difference b/w American men and FSU women?
Is the woman's age important to a man? Based on the data analyzed here, clearly the answer is yes, it is. Is the man's age important to a woman? It might be, but it appears to be weak factor, at least when compared to the weight men assign to the age of their partner. While a 14 year age gap is the average for most women, as a man gets older he tends to seek out a relatively younger woman. Men under 35 seek women less than 10 years younger, men in their 40s and early 50s are looking for women 15 years younger, and as a man enters his late 50s this increases to 20 years, and the age difference continues to increase as the man gets still older.
In other words, it is not women who seek much older men, it is men who seek much younger women. And it has nothing to do with the mythical "maturity" of 20-year old women but has everything to do with their young and firm bods. Be honest at least to yourself guys and don't be so pathetic about the fact that your main desire is to find a much younger woman who'd be able to best satisfy your sexual needs. That's is in your nature, that's what you really want, that's why you started looking in the FSU . There is nothing to be ashamed about. So just go for it, go there and take what is available without all the blah-blah-blah about how mature the FSU female teenagers are.
Having said that, I shall also add that the majority of the FSU women do not find older men sexually attractive. However, there are numerous exceptions which is good news for you guys.
