Speaking only for myself, believe me I have no such "disdain" for, or view of, RM.
I think perhaps you characterize what some guys who post here believe too harshly -- some of your quotes were taken from a larger context.
Nonetheless I find your comments very interesting, and something to think about. I have no doubt RW are interested in foreign men for a variety of reasons, including in some cases their past (negative) experiences with RM...in Russia, as you might add (fair enough). Each woman is different.
The same is true of the men seeking contact with them.
Hopefully governments will not make it any more difficult than it already is.

As I have written many times, walking around Russian cities, one can see many decent RM walking with their families, playing with their children, and showing affection to their wives. What is the relative percentage of these decent men in Russia vs. America? Who knows? America has its "bad men" too.
Most of the RW we encounter have had a bad experience with RM. Few of those with good experiences would list themselves with a Russian ladies marriage agency. Thus, our sample of opinions is certainly not representative. Nevertheless, I heard from more than one educated, sophisticated RW that RM are "pigs", especially when drinking. And drinking seems to be a popular escape in Russia.
If AM lived under the same oppressive economic and political conditions for centuries as the RM have, perhaps we too would drink too much. Within America, we have minorities who have suffered economic and political oppression. Alcohol abuse, drug abuse, spousal abuse and child abandonment are high among them, perhaps higher than in Russia. Who knows?
You make an interesting point. Your credibility is high. Hopefully this will help Newbies understand all motivational factors affecting RW.

I think I made a very strong case for the RM. I also have to ask why you yourself are referring to "Western Men" with the same wide brush that you yourself find so Distasteful? You will always have narrow minded people in any culture, that want to believe anything they are told. Personally, I am of the opinion that a large number of Western Men on this board are quite culturally tolerant and not at all narrow minded.
