The position I have taken on this set of Russina womenposts has not been easy , here at home, Etna is jumping up and down, her position is straight forward and easy, ,,, Get what you want~!,,,Controlling assholes deserve nothing~! Spring should divorce the bum and get on with her life~! Well,,, that's not as easy as you would believe.
Oddly, we need to get some lawyers involved in this if we are to solve all of Spring's problems... She certainly needs to have her interests protected here,,,, but so far,,, have we seen any of her husbands interests expressed here? So far, I think not
Frankly, I'm a little appalled at the shallow, throw it all to the winds,,, get the bastard~! Sonnabitch~! Total Jerk,,A-hole,,, and hang him by the scrotum nature of the advice given here,,,,,,

Well, invited a lawyer's observation, so here 'tis.
The primary problem faces is whether or not her company will honor her requests concerning workplace environment. This is not the FSU where women were expected to sleep their way through promotions. One result of the feminist agenda has been a tightening of workplace rules as far as sexual harassment goes. If she experiences untoward attentions and expectations from the out-of-town guests, a straightforward memo to her boss about it and requesting it not happen again will get the attention of savvy management. If contributions to the company are valuable, they'll find someone else to take them on the town (where are the sales guys anyway -- that's their job!) and arrange for her to do her job in the regular course.
I have more than 1 client who has received the "You can settle this without us filing a lawsuit by paying $250,000.00" letters from women who quit or were fired -- and those are expensive cases to defend and expensive to lose. Smart management takes care of their employees and conducts the company professionally.
I offer no opinion on hubby's postion....

To be stepped on, of course... To surpress your wishes too. Submission is a good reason for marriage. :lol: Iv been married for a long time already..And I did the same mistakes you are fixing to do. Trained by traditional mother who used to say "You need to keep your marriage whatever. Men can.. you can not.. The word woman is a synonym to the word patience, you are supposed to keep your hubby happy, if even its for your account, sleep with him whenever he wants, not when you want or he will leave you". Sometimes I am so angry with her for giving me this "garbage" that costed my first marriage. You know how it ends? Letting someone controll your life, you lose your "face", your personality, and you know who will be the first person that will stop respecting you after all? Your beloved hubby. I dont abet you to ignore his wishes. Consider them. Compromize when you can, but keep going with what you think is right. Nobody is in charge of your life, but you. Nobody is responsible for your life, but you. This famouse RW "sacrifise" thing is a piece of trash, thought out by russian men to have easy control over women. No man ever appreciated "sacrifises made for the sake of marriage". Women who give up their careers for their husbands wishes, are stepped over and soon traded for someone with a "backbone". It is surely flattering to their self esteem - "She loves me so much that she even gave up her job, she is so apprehensive about losing our feeling...". Its rather surprising that the situation rarely plays the same way when it comes to men's interests, they rarely let "women's emotions" stand in the way of business. Its your life, you are supposed to live it YOUR WAY, you cant live it his way. I love my husband but none of us "interfereing' (in a controlling manner) to each others lives. That would ruin our marriage in a minute.
